Electronic Load Controller MC1

Electronic Load Controller is load control system to synchronize generator.


Electronic Load Controller (ELC) is load control system to synchronize generator. With ELC, load frequency on main load (station output) can be guaranteed stable though debit turbine constant. If occur reduction of load on output station then ELC will discharge over load on ballast load and otherwise, so input power turbine will always same with output on main load plus output on ballast load. As power electronic to discharge current to ballast load can be used TRIAC or SCR. ELC work based on principle on frequency sensing. Setting of voltage is performed separately by Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) which is standard equipment from synchronous generator. This is one type of controller Microhydro Indonesia that we develop.
